Latest China search engine report released by CNNIC (Chinese version only)
CNNIC just released a 3rd search engine report in China. The survey conducted in seven regions including 3 Tier 1 cities, 7 Tier 2 cities and 14 Tier 3 cities in China. Baidu has largest shares of market in all Tier I, 2 and 3 cities (67.33%, 73.35% and 83.92%) followed by Google China. There are increasing search engine usages in China with daily average of 61.91% in all survey cities. On the higher education and income groups, gap of market share of Baidu and Google China is narrow (Baidu – 47.72% and Google China – 42.32%).
