OneXenology

The name OneXeno emerged from the term one-to-one marketing first coined by Don Peppers and Martha Rogers around 10 years ago. The second "one" written backwards represents the marketer facing the client directly - our twist on one-to-one. The "X" represents targeting - and is also a representation of a person in between marketers and their client. The OneXeno logo recognizes the fact that while a lot of what one-to-one marketing can do is through technology, people are crucial to making the process work and, ultimately, it is people that enable marketers to get closer to their clients - not just technology.

One X One also represents 1 x 1 pixels - the smallest unit of measure on the Internet. Many of the one-to-one and closed loop marketing technologies use 1x1 pixels (as well as cookies) as key building blocks to digital response marketing.

Finally, OneXeno means "One Stranger" in Greek (Xenos = Stranger). When many marketers look at their customers today, they see a group of strangers. One of our goals is to make customers and prospects familiar to marketers - not strangers.
