Can't open the applications for Hewlett Packard since upgrading my operation system
I recently upgraded to OS10.8.3 and since doing so, I am getting this message, "You can't open the application HP Scan Pro becasue PowerPC applications are no longer supported." I tried to download a new driver and that didn't seem to work. What do I need to do?
The HP Scan Pro is an older software verison, intended for Leopard (10.5) or older OS versions.
Unplug the printer if it is connected via USB and uninstall any incompatible software by following the HP Uninstaller, located under Applications > Hewlett-Packard.
Next reboot your Mac and follow the steps below to install the printer on Mountain Lion:
